With the help of Martin Fink and Lars Patzelt, we produced a surreal animation in which the shards of a glass vase, broken in anger, travel through time and space and are finally glued back together by fluid gold. This idea is taken from the japanese art of Kintsugi, in which broken vessels are carefully repaired and considered to be more worthy as the cary a story within their scars. The video was never published but the production gave us the possibilty to exeriment with procedural effects in 3DStudio Max and work with our friends from film studio Nivre.
