Exploring Datascape

Since we started to work with realtime video there has always been a deep interest in the digital artefacts, that represent little but the medium itself. Never a purer Signal than in the glitch. Generative design and realtime visual programming open genuinly new ways to interact intuitive with the growing datascape around us. The pleasure and duty of data art is not only to make a hidden realiy visible, but also to explore the nature of virtual worlds that will be created by data. In the last years I have been exploring this realm on occasional safaris and I continue to do so. All rendering and postprocessing has been done realtime with custom software programmed in TouchDesigner099
